The first Docklands Network Event of 2023 will be held in the Clayton Hotel’s Meeting & Event Centre on Cardiff Lane on Thursday 9th March. Registration will commence at 7.30am with the event concluding by 9.00am.

 

It may not be Docklands public image but over 75% of the area’s businesses are locally owned Small and Medium Enterprises providing employment for over 5,000 people. On the morning we will present information on supports available for SMEs and targeted finance opportunities to help grow their business.

 

Our panel will include June Butler is Chief Executive Officer of the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland (SBCI). The SBCI was established in September 2014 following Ireland’s exit from the EU/IMF programme, to ensure that businesses could access funding when the private sector could not. Today, the SBCI aims to help SMEs grow, innovate and prosper, leading to a better economy for all.

 

Greg Swift is Head of Enterprise and Economic Development at the Local Enterprise Office Dublin City Council, supporting and developing enterprise, entrepreneurship and an enterprise culture in Dublin City. Providing Grants, Loans, Management Development, Mentoring and Networks to businesses in Dublin City.

 

Paul Berry is a Business Advisor with the Local Enterprise Office Dublin City. Paul has worked for Corporates in Australia, UK and Ireland and has set up his own business and ran it successfully. He has worked with IBEC and other Training organisations as a Management Trainer.
